…IN ORDER TO GIVE ME A REPORT AT THE END OF THE WEEK.

Ideally you would fill it out on Friday or over the weekend, after you’ve done your work. Here is how I will mark the grade in Synergy for the district:

  • 3 if you are happy with your grade AND you’ve made significant progress with the Identity Paper (English) / Final Unit (History) AND you filled out the report… I agree with the Authority that this is good practice for the fall semester to get you in the habit of maintaining contact with all your teachers. And, I * understand * that you may not need the Identity Paper/Final Unit for a higher grade, but I want you to work on it anyway. It’s easier to write a letter of recommendation for you next year (1) if you write well and (2) if you put forth that extra effort.

  • 2 if one of the above is not met, or if you completed a different major assignment this week and let me know AND you filled out the report

  • 1 at the most if you did not fill out the report, or if you did not make any progress with your grade this week

  • 0 if I didn’t hear from you at all

ENGLISH: IDENTITY PAPER

This is the best way to raise your grade ONE FULL LEVEL (yes an F would become a C). I am not rounding up 79/89 to the higher grade. The assignment is in Google Classroom and you’re going to need conference time with me.

ENGLISH AP TEST WEDNESDAY 11AM

All the information you need is here. Scroll down to the bottom for AP test information.

HISTORY: FINAL UNIT

This is the best way to raise your grade ONE FULL LEVEL (yes and F would become a C). I am not rounding up 79/89 to the higher grade. The unit begins during 4th period time THIS THURSDAY 10AM on Zoom. Use the same method of joining me on Zoom that you always have. Stay tuned for more information.
